I adore when families are gifted special family photography sessions from loved ones. This is what happened with this lovely local family in celebration of a milestone birthday. I see this family almost every day in my neighborhood....our kids go to the same school and we used to live in the same apartment building. But photographing a family is an intimate experience...I was lucky enough to get to know this family on a deeper level and to capture their connection to one another with the backdrop of Brooklyn Bridge Park.
