Besides photography, here’s some fun facts about me:
I am a mother of two handsome and loving boys.
My photography journey started at age 15. I took a black & white photography class my freshman year and I’ve been hooked ever since. Thank you Ms. Hadley!
I love to meet new people and figure out how we are connected. One friend thinks I can easily play the “6 degrees of Erin (a la Kevin Bacon)” game.
I’m always trying to make people laugh - I don’t take myself too seriously. For example, when I photograph kids, its not unusual that I will fly toddlers around like Superman or give them a piggy-back ride. Its all about creating fun together. It absolutely melts my heart when my little clients hold my hand to cross the street or give me a hug at the end of our session. I know that a great connection was made and magic did happen!
What’s always on my mind beside my kids and photography….What is my next meal? What is my next trip going to be (I have a huge list to check off)?
One of my favorite trips I have ever taken is a 5 week road trip around the US with my kids - just the 3 of use before they got cellphones. I drove from NYC to Utah and back. We visited National Parks along the way such as Badlands, Custer State Park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, White Sands and so much more. Plus, we ranked the best BBQ joints per state - Central BBQ in Memphis was our absolute favorite. So many amazing memories made that will last a lifetime. I am more than happy to offer recommendations to anyone interested! I LOVE giving recommendations.
When my kids and I don’t have plans on a given weekend night, we go on food adventures around in NYC. Sunset Park and Flushing are favorite boroughs for all the amazing Asian cuisine.
Brooklyn is my favorite place to live. I love the community feel, the people and the vibe. It definitely is home sweet home.
